The painter, Jackson Pollock, was one of the most influential painters of the abstract expressionist movement. His unique style of painting consisted of fixing a canvas on a wall or on the floor, and then dripping or splashing paint on it. This style of painting is referred to as Action Art. His Kerala theme paintings are called Colorippayattu.
